Jeff M. Myers, MBA

Senior Vice President, Reimbursement Strategy & Market Access

Jeff M. Myers is a recognized expert in market access and reimbursement strategy, advising clients on navigating complex healthcare policies and optimizing payer engagement. With a career spanning over three decades in Washington, D.C., he has worked across Congress, life sciences innovation, and various payer and provider organizations. His expertise in both big-picture healthcare policy and the technical intricacies of reimbursement and coverage makes him a sought-after voice in the industry.

As the former CEO and President of the Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA), Jeff played a pivotal role during the rapid expansion of Medicaid and the widespread shift to managed care organizations (MCOs). Under his leadership, MHPA became a leading influencer among government regulators, Congress, and the media, representing companies managing full-risk populations, including children, low-income workers, and individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

His expertise led him to CareSource, one of the nation's largest Medicaid MCOs, serving over 1.8 million members. As Executive Vice President of Strategy and External Relations, he directed the company’s growth initiatives, spearheaded RFP and RFA strategies, and shaped policy and government relations efforts.

Following his tenure at CareSource, Jeff co-founded RareRe, a company dedicated to developing reimbursement pathways for high-cost, low-utilization (HCLU) medications in Medicaid. In 2023, RareRe merged with venture capital-backed CuraFI, where Jeff became Head of Payer Relations. At CuraFI, he leverages his deep understanding of reimbursement policy to develop solutions for managing pharmaceutical costs in Medicare Advantage and ACO REACH programs while advancing reinsurance models for HCLU drugs and biologics within Medicaid.
